A Week of Circular Style in Spitalfields
From 3–8 June 2025, East London’s Spitalfields was transformed into a dynamic stage for the third Fashion District Festival. This year’s edition marked a powerful new partnership with SXSW London, bringing global innovators in fashion tech and regenerative design into the spotlight.

Shop, Swap, Repair and Re-Wear
Throughout the week, Spitalfields hosted a curated pop-up marketplace filled with designers known for upcycling, craftsmanship, natural dyes and reimagined textiles. Conscious consumers browsed pre-loved collections, learned new ways to care for their wardrobes, and connected with change makers reshaping retail from the ground up.
From Omnifix’s Repair Clinic and the 1000 Jeans Challenge by White Weft, to sneaker cleaning by Vamp and customisation with Alterist, the experience redefined what shopping looks like in a circular economy. Special shoutout to Flair Fashion’s styling sessions—proof that sustainability and style are far from mutually exclusive.
Alongside the marketplace and workshop, a dynamic programme of events brought the festival vision to life—highlighted by a performance-led runway from Alexander Whitley Dance Company and a showcase by the Institute of Digital Fashion. With support from forward-thinking partners and sponsors, the festival reinforced East London’s role as a global hub for conscious fashion and collaborative progress.
