The Fashion District Festival has firmly established itself as a must-attend event in London’s fashion calendar, championing sustainability, innovation, and community-driven design. Held in the heart of Spitalfields, the festival is a dynamic showcase of emerging talent, forward-thinking brands, and interactive experiences that redefine the future of fashion.
At FoundPop, we were thrilled to support the Fashion District Festival 2023, providing our design-led rentals to create engaging, functional spaces for pop-ups, workshops, and networking events. Looking back at one of our favourite case studies, we’re proud to have supported an event that continues to push the boundaries of circular fashion and conscious creativity.

SHOP – The Retail Pop-Up Experience
One of the standout features of the festival, the SHOP pop-up, brought together innovative brands championing pre-loved, rented, and upcycled fashion. Set in the striking contemporary space at 1 Lamb Street, it featured sustainable pioneers like The Alterist, Loanhood, Circular Threads, and The Seam. Visitors explored curated collections, swapped wardrobe staples, and attended styling sessions to embrace a more circular approach to fashion.
MAKE – Hands-On Sustainability Workshops
The MAKE programme was all about participation. From embroidery masterclasses by Lydia Bolton to garment upcycling with The Alterist, attendees got hands-on experience with the craft of sustainable fashion. Families and eco-conscious creators alike joined in practical sessions, transforming existing garments into something fresh and unique.
GROW – Driving Industry Innovation
For start-ups and emerging brands, the GROW series provided valuable insights into investment, digital fashion, and the circular economy. Panels and workshops led by industry experts, including Fashion Innovation Agency, The Trampery, and Innovate UK, offered a glimpse into the future of ethical fashion and provided actionable strategies for business growth.
Fashion District Festival 2025
The Fashion District Festival returns to Spitalfields from 3-8 June 2025, promising another fantastic lineup of events. This year, the festival is set to push the boundaries even further, focusing on sustainable, circular, and regenerative fashion with an exciting partnership with SXSW London.
Attendees can expect an immersive experience featuring a live Performance Showcase, a curated pop-up of innovative brands, and industry masterclasses led by influential voices shaping the future of fashion.
