WHAT IS B CORP?

To achieve B Corp certification, a company must score at least 80 on the B Impact Assessment, a rigorous assessment of a company’s social and environmental impact.

The B Impact Assessment evaluates a company’s performance in five areas:

Community: Company engagement with its community and support of social enterprises.

Customer: Positive customer experiences and respect for customer privacy.

Environment: The minimisation of environmental impact and promotes sustainability.

Governance: Company management and how it ensures accountability to its stakeholders.

Workers: Employee treatment, support and promotion of a healthy and safe workplace.

A fashion brand with a big heart — Scamp & Dude offers purpose-led fashion with mood-boosting colours and flattering fits. Known for its signature leopard and lightning bolt prints and vibrant designs, Scamp & Dude is created by Jo Tutchener-Sharp, founder and former MD of Beauty Seen PR. Originally launched as a kids’ brand in 2016 after Jo’s life-saving brain surgery and her separation from her children, the brand aims to help children feel secure and empowered when apart from their loved ones. Now, with its womenswear division at the forefront and available in Liberty, London, and the flagship shop in Marlow, Scamp & Dude continues to change the way people feel through fashion.

This year, Scamp & Dude launched the #SuperScarfMission to donate over 60,000 Super Scarves to women undergoing chemotherapy across the UK. Additionally, for every Superhero Sleep Buddy sold, they donate one to a child who has lost a parent or is seriously ill. To date, Scamp & Dude has donated over £1.8M worth of products, including over 45,000 Super Scarves and 7,700 Superhero Sleep Buddies, significantly impacting those in need.
