Earlier this month, cult-favourite brand Lucy & Yak invited their community offline and into their wild and wonderful world — and it all started with a van.
Hosted inside a vibrant space at Copeland Gallery, the event marked the brand’s first-ever in-person community meet-up, transforming a temporary venue into a joyful hub of colour, connection and creativity. Guests were welcomed aboard the iconic Yak van, where the journey kicked off with storytelling moments that traced the brand’s beginnings; from their founders’ early spark to the movement they’ve built today.

Pop-up meets purpose
With exclusive pieces, Re:Yak workshops, and sneak peeks at what’s next, the event offered more than a shopping moment; it was a hands-on celebration of sustainability, self-expression, and circular creativity. From upcycling activities to a preview of new seasonal styles, the community didn’t just visit, they participated, crafted, and co-created.
A VIP experience for the Yak family
Loyal fans (aka VIP Yakkers) were the first to step into this immersive space, designed to feel more like a colourful clubhouse than a conventional pop-up shop. FoundPop provided modular event furniture that helped bring the brand’s playful visual identity to life.
As always, Lucy & Yak did it their way: inclusive, full of heart, and designed with the community at the centre.
