For one festive weekend in Mayfair, Hope Macaulay brought her unmistakable world of colour, craft, and joy to London — opening the doors to a pop-up shop that felt as personal and expressive as the knitwear itself.
Hosted just moments from Green Park, the pop-up offered Londoners a first-hand look at Hope Macaulay’s feel-good universe: sculptural, oversized knits, vibrant textures, and pieces that blur the line between fashion and wearable art.
From Northern Ireland to Mayfair
Founded by textile designer Hope Macaulay on the North Coast of Northern Ireland, the family-run, woman-owned brand has become globally recognised for its slow fashion ethos and joyful approach to knitwear — often described as dopamine dressing.
At the heart of the brand is the iconic Colossal Knit Cardigan, created using Hope’s unique hand-knitting technique that requires no needles. Crafted from sustainably sourced materials such as luxury merino wool, each piece reflects a deep commitment to mindful making, community, and longevity — values that shaped every detail of the London pop-up.
