Host a Community-Led Pop-Up This Summer
As warmer months draw shoppers outdoors and footfall rises across the city, seasonal pop-ups are proving to be a powerful tool for connection and conversion. One standout example? Another Pantry’s community grocer pop-up, which transformed London’s Coal Drops Yard into a weeklong celebration of independent food producers, slow living, and seasonal eating.
Founded by British-Iraqi photographer and baker Safia Shakarchi, Another Pantry began as a digital platform to share recipes, stories, and a conscious approach to food. The pop-up brought that mission to life, inviting visitors to shop artisan products from UK producers like Café Cecilia, St. John, 26 Grains, Wildfarmed, and BAO. Alongside groceries, the space hosted intimate workshops including a charcoal still-life drawing session and pasta-making evening, turning the store into a cultural event hub.
To shape the space, we provided our signature retail furniture of shelves, plinths, and display tables designed to spotlight each brand and product. The result was a pop-up that prioritised both form and function, allowing each item to shine while keeping the experience easy to navigate and visually elevated.
With summer fast approaching, now is the time to plan your own foodie pop-up. Whether you’re spotlighting seasonal produce, hosting an outdoor tasting, or launching a limited-edition product, the key is creating a space that feels considered, community-driven, and easy to shop.
